Answers
Can I run AS Flight Analysis software on my computer?
Most likely yes. AS Flight Analysis software is designed to run on Windows XP based PCs. Although there are some minimum requirements to ensure that the software runs properly, most recent computers run the software without difficulty. Minimum requirements include Windows XP Home or Professional, 1GHZ CPU, 1 GB of available disk space, and a video card from nVidia, ATI or Intel Graphics.

Will the software display my aircraft?
AS Flight represents a number of aircraft out of the box. If the need arises, Appareo will model your aircraft and include it in the program for a nominal fee.

Can I create videos to share with others using AS Flight Analysis Software?
AS Flight does not currently allow for saving an exportable video file. However, commercially available screen capturing software will allow you to create a video for whatever is playing on the screen, including a flight recreation using AS Flight software.

What file formats can I save my files in?
The default format that AS Flight uses to save files is .AVF (Appareo Visual Format). Additionally, AS Flight is able to save in six other formats, including Comma Separated Value (.csv) and Keyhole Markup Language (.kml) for playback and sharing in Google Earth.

What parts of the world do you support with 3D terrain and satellite imagery?
The entire earth is supported with satellite imagery and terrain data that comes from online sources. AS Flight retrieves the appropriate terrain and image information based on the GPS information recorded by your flight data recorder and caches that information on your computer for later use. With this approach, you need only store the data that is relevant to your flights, and not a great deal of extra information.
